Cylinder & cylinder head
An overhead camshaft activates the four valves (titanium inlet valves) via four light rocker arms and serves as a centrifuge for the engine ventilation • the FE 390 has a new camshaft and new pistons for an optimal, enduro-style performance • redesigned cam chain tensioner in all engines • guarantees more reliable chain tension • new oil control rings (390 & 450 cc) and new piston rings made of nitrided steel • for increased reliability
