Round three of the championship took place in Palinuro (SA), where Manuel literally dominated the rally finishing 1st, more than 8 minutes ahead of the rest. This victory brings Husaberg for the first time ever the European Championship title in the Rally discipline. Furthermore this important result shows once again that the new Husaberg FE 570 is constantly delivering excellent results on an international level.

The Palinuro Rally didn’t start very well for Manuel who in the first stage (raced in the night) had a really big crash and was only 16th overall. But during the second race day the italian Husaberg rider concentrated on his riding, forgot about the pain, and worked his way up to 1st position. Finally in the lead he managed to keep the first position overall until the end of the rally. This race saw him win the overall classification, the Over 450cc class and the Under 25 class, and in the end he earned the overall European Champion title with one more race to go.

Manuel wants to thank all his sponsors and Husaberg Italy for the support in this season and dedicates this victory to them.
